I know windows 95 and 98 did not correctly install drivers for cer View monitors. (This means all the numbers like 54e, 55l, ALL OF THEM). Then go to the system properties in the control pannel. Click on device manager, select the monitor, go over to driver, click update driver. THen when it asks where to look, specify the folder where the driver is. THis will correctly install your acer monitor.
